OME Lift and Alignment Specs Questions
I am planning on getting the all OME lift front and rear (haven't purchased yet). I won't be able to intall it myself, so I called a few local shops for a quote on installation and an alignment. The quotes were coming in at around $400 ($330 for installation and $70 for the alignment).
First question: Does this sound like an average installation price? What should the installation cost?
Second question: The shops said that they needed new alignment specs to put into the computer because the ride height changed. So does OME provide new alignment specs with its springs? If not, will the factory specs be sufficient? What problems could arise using the factory specs to align to?
BTW, I searched extensively, but couldn't find specific answers to my questions.
Thanks for any input/experience you may have!

Yeah, I saw that thread when searching. Great info and I learned a ton, but it doesn't get into the issue of using the factory specs with a lifted rig.
Thanks though.

Do it yourself... you can do it! Then you'll have $400 to spend on some other mods!
But before I sacked up and did mine myself, I had gotten shop quotes ranging from 275-500. Yeah, its nuts.

I had not done any suspension work prior to installing my OME lift. I did end up paying about $60 to have my front coil/shocks assembeled as well as a computer alignment. If you have time do it, you'll surprise yourself!
Have a good weekend!
