Will a 3inch OME suspension lift allow me to run 33s on my 2002 4Runner with out rubbing on the frame.

Depends on the wheels. Im running that lift with 285/75/16 on stock rims with a little rubbing

Is that lift worth the money or there is there a better one that cost about the same.

As a rule, a suspension lift alone will not allow you to run bigger tires on 3rd gen 4Runners. The problems lie in the upper a arm and the size of the front wheel well. 285's will not clear (with a few rare exceptions) without one of three options:
1). Modified upper a arms (trimmed) from Sonoran Steel or similar.
2). Wheels with different backspacing. Stock is ~5"...4.0" - 4.5" on a 16"x8" wheel seems to be magic. One of the cheapest routes is using Land Cruiser wheels from 93-97 model years.
3). Wheel spacers of at least 1" thickness. Most do not recommend these on daily drivers due to balancing issues and safety problems with the lug nuts coming lose while driving.
No matter which option you choose, there'll be some trimming involved with the pinch weld and possibly with the lower fender flares and inner fender well. My next set of tires will be 285's and I'll probably go the wheel route. Good luck!

I have a spacer lift and my 285's rub on the frame when i have the wheel fully cranked..... but that doesn't bother me.

Same here! They rub the frame but no big deal. Ill get rims 16x8 rims to fix the prob someday

What tires are you guys running to not rub on the upper a's? I've heard that a very few A/T style tires won't rub, but most A/T's and M/T style tires do. Did you do any pinch weld or inner fender trimming?

I have Pro Comp A/T's I did no trimming. I did take a grinder to the A arm, but i don't think i really took much off to matter. After the alignment there was no rubbing. I do get a bunch of rub on my factory mud flaps when i flex, but i'm not concerned about that either.

My OME lift is probably a little under 3" due to settling. The 285/75/16 BFG AT's rub only on the Bushwacker Flares (The BFG's MT's rubbed the flares a lot more).
