OME 880/906 combo, I'm confused, HELP!

I used the search and got even more confused. I have a 99 4Runner "sport" and put OME 890s front, 906s rear with all new OME struts and shocks. I was under the impression it would give me about 2" lift over stock, but from what I've read on here that combo doesn't give any additional lift over stock? Now my quandry is that I was planning on running 285s on it, what will I have to do to make it work???

it'll would have given you 2 inches if you had any year other than 99 4x4's. But now you probably only got about an inch. For 33's you either need a toytec lift or tundra/ome890..

What I was afraid of. So, I need a whole new setup? Where is the cheapest place to get the Tundra coils for the front? Could I not use a trim packer or 2 in the rear coils? Really wanting to run 285s...

Let me know if you decide to sell the 906 coils. Where are you located?

AR, I'll let you know soon. You want the front coil and strut assembly also? They have about 20k on them, no abuse.

No thanks I am going with the Tundra fronts and already ordered some tokico front struts. Maybe we could try to gather up a group buy for some Tundra front coils...

I'm game, let's get it worked out. I guess the 906s and the Tundra front setup would be pretty level and give about 2" all around?

Yeah close, I think the Tundra fronts give about 1.5 or so naturally, and most guys put in a 3/8 spacer that brings it to almost 2". I might be a little low on those numbers. Do a search for a thread called "New TRD front setup" or "New front setup" by a user named Bamachem and you should find a really nice writeup with tons of info on doing the setup.

the ome 890's didnt give my 99 any lift. i ended up using the 891's which gave me 3", but many think they are too stiff - not for me tho. also the landcruiser coils give about 3" in the rear and are softer than the 891"s.

I measured last night, bottom of fender to ground with Nitto Terra Grappler 265/75/16 it is:
Back 37", Front 36". What do most of you guys have in the back with the 890/891, LCs, etc?
