Well, as my post numbers show, I am a frequenter of this site, mainly the 86-95 4Runner and Truck forum.
I have made some good friends in that sub-forum and would like to meet some new ones here! So, I thought I'd introduce myself and my newest rig.
Without further ado, My new-to-me 1997 4Runner
Trim: SR5
Drivetrain: 3.4 V6, 5 speed, 4WD, FACTORY rear locker, and factory 4.10 gears
Interior: gray, sport buckets up front, covered in fabric, all things power except the seats, moon roof too.
Exterior: tow package, all the factory fender flares, mudflaps, etc etc.
Mods: 2" OME suspension lift with Sonoran Steel Daystar bump stops in rear, Hella driving lights, auxiliary reverse lights, and 265/75R16 BF Goodrich A/T KO's
Near Future: My roommate is building me a custom rear bumper!
I swear, it looks much better in person!
Thanks for looking, and I look forward to getting to know you guys!

looks a little rusty but I guess your used to that up there. I would still have picked it up mainly because of the factory e-locker. how many miles?

yeah, rust is pretty common in PA, but this one actually came from Boston, which is much worse. The only rust is the rear bumper really, and that is getting replaced in a few weeks time with a custom rear bumper!
I saw V6 5Speed E-locker and I started drooling. I saw it was black, and came well optioned, and I said I have to have it. Best purchase I have ever made!
why would you wanna drive anything else?

I agree, black is my absolute favorite color on a vehicle.
Oh, and I've seen your surf, what a ride! Congrats, it looks sweet as heck!

well 2 and a half weeks and 1000 miles later, my only complaint is that my mom seems to be finding any excuse she can to drive it...
