Okay... Need Advice on a Street Queen Build Up
Lets just assume Im an idiot, and I know nothing about anything...
Tell me what you would do if you had a 2WD 2004 Double Cab PreRunner, and wanted it 6 inches in the air on 35" tires. any general advice on how to acheive this, or specifics, so far in as which tires, which size tires, which lift kits we like, which lift kits we dont like. And Don't say sell it and get 4WD. And don't say leave it on the ground.

I already replied to your first post, but I understand how these message boards are kinda confusing...
Anyways, here are your options:
1) Coilovers jacked 3" + 3" body lift. <-Id be hesitant to do a 3" bl though.
2) 3" spacers and body lift
3) Drop braket lift. (Fabtech and Trailmaster make 6" kits, Tuff Country makes a 5" and procomp makes a 4".) These kits are quite pricey though, and are made to keep your front differentail at a good geometry. You could still use it in a 2wd.
Personally if I were to do it all over again, I'd stick with some nice coilovers @ 2" and a 2" bl. Do more fender trimming and fit the 35's on that way.
I am running the 6" trailmaster w/ 2" bl and its too tall and tippy. I'll be taking the bl off eventually but its gonna be some work since I have stuff welded on .

Okay I just checked out the Fabtech site, it seems very un-infromative. Anyway... They say for my truck that they have the 6" Ultimate Lift. Which allows for 31" tires. that bothers me. the stock tires on my truck are basically 29 or 30" tires.... Of course the website doesnt tell anything about the kit really, just a picture of the peices and the fac tthat it can fit 31" tires....help?

You could do a drop bracket like ProComp or various others, search "drop bracket". Otherwise, you could do coilovers or spacers and a 3 inch body lift. A body lift is nothing bad, I wouldn't be scared to do one at all. Especially since you are only doing on road driving. Either of those will allow you to fit 35's, but you might need to pound the pinch weld and/or get rims with different backspacing.
