Ok should I need opinions......
Well it's going to be around early April before my truck is back up and running....
In the mean time, should I pull my lower intake and have it cleaned? I know this will involve timing belt issues as well as knock sensor/knock sensor wire issues....
As a side note, water/coolant of some kind keeps pooling uparound where the knock sensor goes under the lower intake. I cant tell what it is because it is THAT nasty....
Input guys.

I'd call around and see who will clean it and for how much first...if you can find a place that will do it reasonably (my cleaning was $25) then I say ya go for it...as far as the timing belt just make sure you mark everything at the cam sprockets then pull the belt off and clamp it at the water pump pulley ( i think i have a pic of how i did it in my thread) then just make sure you replace the knock sensor wire for $10

some say to do the sensor while you have the easy access others i've heard say you don't need to including a guy i know at the local stealership, one of the guys on here (can't remember name off top of my head) really believes in replacing it. But I'm takin the chance with mine and my dad is with the Runner engine too because $180 seems a little steep for preventitive maintenence...i guess its up to the person and how old their sensor is
