OIL in intake hose?

Yes, to a certain degree. It is most likely coming from the crankcase vent, which is routed purposely back into the intake. Unfortunately, this causes the TB to get all gunked up, among other things. You can make something called a "catch can" if it bugs you. You can also buy one or search google on how to make one. Try searching for "PCV catch can" and see what you get. Later.

Some vehicals are worst at it than others.
My 4ag motors that I run in my Corolla's are real bad w/ blow by.
There's benifits to having it hooked up and benifits to diconnecting it.
Some say that by having it hooked up provides a better seal on the piston rings due to the vacume effect provided by the intake mani sucking for air. You also get alittle better fuel milage w/ it hooked up due to half buned fuel getting recurculated back into the A/F mixture.
Others like to unhook it due to the oil build up in the manifold and intake side of the valve's. (Not usually a concern untill you have alot of miles on your motor) At the same time there will be some blow by that has a litlle unburned fuel in the vapor which further polutes the incoming (hopefully cold) Air charge robbing you of some power.
The other option is what 96 runner suggested.
No large oil deposits , but you still get the little extra milage since the unburned fuel gets back to the A/F mixture as a vapor.
