OEM Hitch Class?

Either i'm completely dim, or the manual isn't stating what "class" the OEM hitch on my 2002 limited 'runner is... I'm guessing it's class 2. Uhaul is saying I need a minimum of class 2 to pull this towing dolly (taking my now wrecked '97 jetta to a local college to have the students fix it) about 100 miles. The manual is stating i've got roughly 9200 pounds of towing capacity, so I think it's at LEAST a class 2.

Anybody know for sure?

I thought the OEM hitch was a class III, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Also keep in mind that the 9200 # represents the weight of your truck, any gear and the trailer. 3rd gens tow 5,000lb w/ the V6.

Excellent info guys, obviously I'm more than set with the class 3 hitch.

Pics of the jetta wreck, she went head on (hit some ice, went into the other lane at roughly 20MPH) with a late model mitsu mirage coupe:

Really, the damage isn't that bad for what happend. Good thing it's only costing my dad (who is getting the car to replace his ancient 86 jetta) parts... He's a happy guy now. Course he also thinks nobody 'needs' 4WD. Crazy In one of the pics you can see the side of my dear-sainted 1994 SR5 5MT that blew a rod bearing 7 days before I wrecked the jetta. bad car luck. But damn did I ever get a good deal on the 02, and I loooooveeee it!
