O2 Sensor

Recently my check engine light came on and when I got it checked, it read out that the o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) was faulty. I believe this is the sensor behind the catalytic converter, correct me if I'm wrong. After clearing the trouble code, the check engine light came back on in about 20 miles. Lately I've also been getting very crappy gas mileage, 11-12mpg on some occasions, but not around the 16-17mpg I was averaging when I got it. Since I'm pretty tight on cash right now, will replacing that o2 sensor now solve my gas mileage issues saving me money in the long run or not, because if it wont have a pretty decent effect, I plan on replacing it in a few months.

you also can shop around for the best priced 02 . some great people on yota tech gave me a few places to try. i thought that urd racing had the best price for a denso 02 which is original equipment.and that is a first time fit,no splicing wires.

yeah furthest south ive gone is in the woods of the sarco sandpits. i've been wanting to go out to wharton since september. i mainly explore the small trails around me but nothing extreme cause im basically stock, and all of the guys i wheel with seem to always bail out.
