noob with question

hello everyone,

been surfing the board since i bought my truck, which was september 2004. Got a few mods on it and the next mod I want is some nice foglights on the front. I was wondering if there are any other ways of mounting PIAA 520 SMR Clear foglights on the front of my truck with drilling holes?

thanks in advance

This is a pretty open-ended question.
LOTS of options for you to explore. You could mount on top with a special bracket I think Summit Racing has. Member Bud has that kind of set-up.

You could always get some sort of bumper extension OR an aftermarket bumper to mount on.

There's also the possibility of redoing the grill with some type of mesh/gutter guard and mount in front of the radiator.

Go to the "Check out my truck" section and I'm sure you'll get some good ideas looking at all the cool pictures there.
Don't forget that you should not post in any of those threads... I know that can annoy Corey something awful

I think Demello's got something for that...
Okay yeah he does but it looks a bit pricey. Maybe it'll give you some ideas on a homemade version?

The only problem I see with a small bracket system is stability. You might be better off getting some kind of no-name bull bar and mount the lights on them if $ is a factor.

Anyone have the wiring instructions for the PIAA 520s? The 4Runner I just bought has them mounted but not hooked up. I believe I have all the wiring but don't know how to do it without instructions.
