Noisy A/C blower motor
Probably a dumb question, but I have a 2004 Tacoma truck. What I can only assume is the A/C blower motor, located under the glove box is really noisy. I isolated the problem by taking the motor out, so I know it's not a leaf in the ducts. Someone told me Tacoma's are infamous about noisy blowers. It's not too bad, just has a buzzing sound when I turn on the A/C. Is this normal, or should I spend the $65 for a new one. It is getting annoying. Any suggestions?

On my old 86' cressida, the blower was noisy for about a year, untill it died in the middle of winter(exactlty when I needed it most..pulled the old one apart after replacing it and the brushes were totally gone,as in worn through....On my 97' the blower motor started making noise on low and medium speed,I remembered what happened to the cressida and I just replaced it.I would say,If you are capable of replacing it yourself, shop online and loacally...get a good price on one...Just put in a new one....and put one in before its really nasty out and you need it to clear the windshield......
