No Heat?
Noticed yesterday and today that Im not getting any heat. Set the climate control to 74 and just blasts cold air the whole time even when the engine is at normal operating temp. This is on a 2000 4runner ltd. Any suggestions? TIA

ok so the rad is full but I have located the problem. and the problem with my problem is that im not sure how to fix it. LOL. I removed everything from the center console (radio, amp, etc) and behind the oem amp I can see the lever attacted to the cable that controls heat/cold. So I turn the climate control knob to 65 and I can see the lever moving, then I turn the control to 85 and I see it move in the other direction but then it seems like it gets stuck and starts clicking. please tell me this has happened to someone else and there is a simple fix.

Yea fill her up with antifreeze and let the truck run without the radiator cap for a few minutes(watching the temp gauge) to purge out all of the air bubbles in the system.

I'll look into that. I just had the rad replaced by toyota a few months ago.... It was full when i looked over their work when i pick it back up. the temp gauge is still showing that its operating at normal temps

also check the heater control valve cable..Will be located at firewall with two hoses running through it..make sure its fully open when calling for heat,If not remove cable and turn valve arm open...if its open and still no heat possibile heater core clogged/air in system.........If it didn't move on the call for heat..problem is in climate control assembly, cable servo, cable unhooked, ect.
