Newer steering wheel?

Hi, I thought I saw a thread similar to this one a while ago but I searched and kept getting a bunch or rim threads or threads on steering rack stuff. Anyhow I wanted to know if anyone on here has swapped a newer 4 spoke steering wheel onto an older 3gen runner such as a 96, 97 or 98. I have seen some 98's with the 4 spoke and some with the older 2 spoke so it made me wonder if they would swap over with no problems. I ask because the leather wrap on my wheel is getting old and i wish I had a 4 spoke because I like how it looks soooo much more. If anyone has in info in this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a lot guys.

....and gals .

I wonder if there are any steering wheels that would fit our 3rd gens that have audio controls on them. They don't have to work anything... just give me the wires, I'll figure everything else out.

as my sig says...trust me, I'm an engineer.
