Cool Newbie: Hola, a bit about myself

Well, I thought I would introduce myself before I post. My name is Chris, I am from Portland Oregon. From the moment I saw a brand new, forest green, 1995 ,4x4, toyota truck; I knew that I wanted one. Of course, I was still in highschool then and I had 10 bucks to my name.

Fast forward 10 years and I am pre-approved for a loan for a 1995 runner. Why a runner and not a truck? Family. My wife and I plan to have some kids here in the next few years and I know that is is difficult to haul a family around in a supercap truck. That is ok. I have transferred that love to a runner.

I have called around on a few runners to no avail. I did find the one I want up in Seattle, but it is a pain to buy out of state. Here is what I am looking for after doing hours of research. The question is, can it be done? Can I find this model?

4 CYLINDER
5 speed
>130k
SR5, PW, PDL, Roof Rack, Moon Roof, Tape (or CD), A/C
31 inch tires and matching axles
Preferably a 1st or 2nd owner.

I have a budget. I have found a ton of V6's with auto's.So, now I wait. The questions I have is this:
1) Did ANY 4 cylinders come with the moon roof?
2) Did any of the above come with 4.56 axles?
3) Are the v6's reall that bad?
Thanks,
Chris

Honestly, and I'm not just saying this because I have one, I would try to find one with a 5spd 3.0. They are good motors, and will move that heavy runner along better than the little 4-popper. The 5spds. are actually quite peppy. A 22RE is great in a std. cab pickup, but is way underpowered in the 4Runner. Even if you're not a speed demon, you'll miss the extra ponies of the V6. But if you absolutely have to have the 22RE, then by all means get it. Just be sure to keep in the right hand lane, especially up hills. I had one, and it is a bulletproof motor. By the way, welcome to the club, and congrats on getting a 2nd gen runner, the most beautiful vehicle known to man!
