New Tire Recomendations?
Hey all, Wandering what tires you might recommend for my stock 99 4Runner for street and offroading use. I will be lifting it 2-3" in the near future!
Thanks to all who give a recomendation!

Will 265/75/16's fit without the lift or do I need to lift it first to fit these tires under it. It has 265/70/16's on it now would the 75's be taller or wider.
Thanks for all the help!

My LT 265/75R 16 C's Toyo Open Country AT's fit fine on my stock height, with stock alloy wheels, Runner.
A 265/75R16, is approx. an inch taller than a 265/70R16.
The 265 is the section width of the tire in mm's.
The 75 is the aspect ratio, which means in this case that the sidewall height is 75% of the width.
R is Radial.
16 is the wheel diameter.
C is the load range, in this case a 6 ply tire.
Something else to keep in mind, is that not all tires branded a particular size are exactly the same actual size, there is usually some variation.
So you might try a particular tire on for size to make sure it will fit.
Hope this helps.
