i did a search and kinda answered my own question.
i would still appreciate any feedback you guys have.
i did a mild offroad excursion saturday morning and had a good time. the front seemed to perform well, but the rear seemed a little stiff.
what do you guys think?
Dave

Welcome newbie!
Sorry, I don't have a Taco. But, I can tell you I haven't heard of anyone with TRD Bilsteins. I have regular Bilsteins and am thrilled with them.
Good luck with your Taco!

The TRD package for the tacoma's comes with a rear locker and bistein shocks. This is what i am refering to.
I guess i am asking if it would be worth it to "upgrade" to the bilsteins that come with the trd package.
thanks,
Dave

I would have to say no. If you are going to upgrade your bils I would go right from the company. Why pay for a TRD markup? shox.com was the cheapest I had found. I love my bills too though!

but you should get a lift! saws for the front, some alcan leaf springs, and use bilstein 5100's in the back (might as well relocate them too) j/k.
