New pics...

Thought I would share some pics I just snaped of my newest mods. New grill (thanks "jacksonpt" for the idea), mesh for the scoop to match the grill & valance and the blue flex-a-lite (210B) to match my engine accessories. I'm so color coordinated

Do they make that flex-a-lite in yellow? How much was it if you don't mind me asking...

Exclamation Very Sharp!

Very sharp! I like the grill! It's like mine, only... better! Smaller mesh too it looks like.

Check this 2 sites. The model number for your year is FLX-165:

http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/165.htm

I know they make fans in black, blue, red and yellow for my application. You may want to email them for yours.

Cebby, right now Summit has the best $$ for our application. $219.00 I believe it was. JC Whitney has an elec. fan the same dimensions (not a fex-a-lite) w/ a thermostat for $100.00. Kicking that one around a little.

That mesh looks great. Doing the hoodscoop makes the whole package. Did you see that done somewhere else or is it an original idea?

Thanks! Lowes has the mesh. With tax it cost me $1.16. Home Depot also sell the mesh. But the Lowes sheets are alittle wider.

Noel:

I had the mesh on my stock grill but switched the a '96-'98 grill and followed some of the details in the tech section for this grill. I cut the middle out(which you can't really do on the newer grills) and attched the mesh with picture hanging wire. It's less noticable than using zip ties. I had a local shop pait it since the grill only comes chrome or gray. I bought the gray one.
