its a 85 yota pickup reg. cab. with 33x12.50's and a 4 inch lift. i dont know much about the toyota engines i have only had this one for 2 months and it is my first yota. i either want a new engine or some ideas of what i can do to get a lilttle power out of this. i have to put it in 3rd to go over the bridge that is like 3 minutes from my house or else i wont gain any speed going up it i'll just lose speed. thanks for your help

gears will definetly help move the 33's with a lift. a header and exhaust (pacesetter headder and 2 inch with a good muffler and clean cat) will help wake it up too. combine that with some carb tricks and a small cam like the 263 from engnbldr and you might spend $500 but can finally enjoy making it up a hill and getting up to speed.

Im not too sure for the carb tech stuff but you can look at DOA or LCEngineering.com. I wouldnt buy anything ( too $$$$) but see what carb stuff they offer as a basis or comparison. try putting some posts out specifically for carb tech on here, toyotanation.com, pavementsucks.com and any that those sites have links for.
