New Hood Pics

Hi Just had to share some pics of my hood mod, got the idea from one of my cars with a cracked fiberglass hood. Put it on the truck today to do some stress testing before final painting. what do you think??

That's exactly what I was going for!! Thanks Scofco any ideas on what I could do for a brush or bull bar? I've got access to a tubing bender (up to 6 in.) and welder.

Depends on what you want. Do you want something that can take a beating, or something that looks pretty. What do you want to protect, if anything? What sizes? Do you want to build it yourself?

I'd like it to look tough, I don't really believe any thing but an ARB type bumper would be able to take a beating. Besides the materials are free, looking for a design more like a bull bar that wouldn't stop at the bumper like most. Probably 3 inch tubes possibly a bar at bumper level for lights (neighbor does powder coating).

It looks cool, but I think it would look better if the buldge on the front of the hood was carried back and up to form the opening. It would flow better. I kinda looks like you have whoops on your hood.

Just my opinion.... but I think the hood goes well with the visor and the fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror.
