I have a '99 4runner. I installed 2.5" front spacer with new strut cartridge and stock springs. The rear has OME 890 coils (supposedly 2.75" lift) with new shocks. Problem is that the 4runner has a slight reverse rake. I am running 265/75 R16 on the 4runner right now. Here are the ideas that I came up with on how to fix it, but I would like to know what you guys think I should do.

1) Change out the front spacer to 1.5" spacer, but I cannot find one.

2) Put a 1.5" spacer in the back (Daystar makes one), but I don't really want to go that high in back.

3) OME front springs and strut cartridge with top out spacer 2.25" overall lift supposedly. I like this option, but is real close to what i have right now and that concerns me.

you guys have any ideas, the 4runner is my wife's daily driver and it is bugging her and me too.

How long have you been riding on the new springs? They'll settle a tad, but you said you re-used your stock front springs, I'm guessing they've lost a bit of height over the years. Spacers will only accelerate the sag on already tired springs.

Either way, I think you'll be happier with some OME for the front as well.

Edit: I read your post backwards, I think...ass end lower?

go with the OME front springs instead of those worn out stock front springs, as that'll probably help ya out...

From what I understand the problem is the fron being higher than the back. I would recommend the OME's up front. Probably some 881's.

Yeah the front is higher than the rear. I was thinking about the OME springs up front too. Question is would the OME springs and top out spacer be too much and put me back to where I was? Anybody else run into this?

I suggest Tundra coils with a 3/8" top-plate spacer. That will give you 2"-2.25" of lift.
