Need Pics of 50% tint

I am going to tint my driver and passenger side windows. Wisconsin law limits tint to a net 50%. I'm not sure what tint and the glass will add up to but I don't think anyone will notice if I use 50% and am fractionally darker. What I would like to know is what does it look like? Anyone have photos of 50% tint, preferably next to another window that is stock.

My favourite truck store told me WI law was 20%. They're wrong, but if I want to step onto the illegal side they'll do it for me. 20% would match my rear windows and topper which is desirable, but cops are tint Nazis around here so I don't really want to give them reason to pull me over.

get 35%, if you are worried about 20, the 50 will look like nothing, dont even waste your money if you dont do at least 35.

okay, so what does 35% look like?

The reason why I'm hesitant is because it's two points plus the fine for illegal tint.

Here's what 35% looks like. I wanted to go 20% but the tint guy said the fronts would be darker than the rears and I didn't want that. You can tell that the fronts are slightly less dark than the factory tint.

I've got 50% on the front windows in my Cobra. You can sort of see it some pics at this link. I bought it a couple of weeks ago with the tint on the windows and I'm seriously considering taking it off. It's a bit too dark for me. YMMV

that cobra looks like 35%, no way 50 would be that dark. talk to any tint shop, 50 is really light.

It looks pretty light. You can see right through it.

Close. Your Mileage May Vary. IOW you may have a different experience than mine, but it doesn't make one right and the other wrong.

Is it possible to tint the driver/passenger windows with 20% and then tint over all the other factory tinted windows with 35% or 50% to get them to match?

Yes. You can do this and is what was recommended by the tint guy. I don't know if you'd do exactly what you said but you can just tint the fronts 20% and he'd figure out the rest. I didn't want to do this b/c that would be tinting the factory windows that came with tint. Overall, I'm happy with the fronts the way they are.

I think in all states the darkest you can have on the driver/passenger window is 35......

You CAN do it, but you might get ticketed.

35 here in WA, i tinted 15% over the factory tint, and have 5% on my fronts, 35% on my windshield, they are illegal and dark but you just have to be careful. 35% is no big deal if you were to have it on your fronts before i went really dark i had 35%.
