My turn now Lee

Lee, your poll post with your rig with the black, silver, and factory alloys persuaded me to take a pic of my rig and see what it would look like with two different wheels I have eyed over the past month.

I won't make this a poll though, but opinions are welcome

These are my Centerlines that came on the rig.
Very expensive wheels and they are still in great shape except for nicks from airtools at shops in the past.

These are Tech One Street Locks with the fake bead lock look.
I did a crappy job of putting this pic in, but you get the idea.

These are the new Mickey Thompson Classic Locks also with the Bead lock look, in polished uncoated alloy.
I did a better job with the software sizing these to the rig.

I just put my Centerlines back on for "spring" last Wednesday after being off all winter.
Spent last week before they went on polishing them by hand too.

Well, first let me plead with you not to buy the posur jeep rims!! Those fake bead locks are just the silliest things out there, best left for kids that paint things yellow and buy tow straps with hooks...

The last ones are not bad, but I still like your wheels the best...

I'd say Keep what you've got, they are definatly the best of the 3 and the best part is you dont have to shell out any dough for 'em.

Thanks guy's, and they are also the deepest ones too.

These wheels have been discontinued, and I don't know why.
They are kind of a classic from Centerline, and you don't see them that often.

Yeah, not having to shell out dough for new ones is nice too.
I may upgrade to 32" tires next time, but not sure.
I hate to make the SS Minow go a few knots less faster than she does now.

I'd say keep the original also Corey I've always thought those wheels were cool Wish I could get a set!!!

When it comes time to get new tires for me (Hopefully soon ) I'd really like to get some new wheels, mainly because tires for 16" rims cost a lot! So I'm going to probably go with 15s.

These are the rims I'll probably get (these are the wheels from a 2000 Xterra, and I can order them for $140 each which doesn't seem too bad)

The wheels that are on my Xterra now are just a little too plain for me...

Corey,
You think you could size down those pics a little bit?
It took me 3 freikin years to view each one.

Try cropping out the top few inches of trees, building, etc. It would make a huge difference in size.

I'm still trying to look at the pics, so I dont have an opinion yet.

Dave, I compressed the pics by 15%, but left them at 1024x768, as it shows more detail.

With the Centerlines as it is now
http://pnw4runners.net/pics/compress...heels/bos3.jpg

With the black Tech One Street Locks
http://pnw4runners.net/pics/compress...reet_locks.jpg

With the new Mickey Thompson Classic Locks
http://pnw4runners.net/pics/compress...h_mt_locks.jpg

I think with a white rig like mine, a polished alloy wheel looks the best as it seperates the rest of the rig which has mainly black on it from after market stuff like the bumper, sliderz, roof rack, flares, ect.

I say stick with the originals also. I do think a set of Mickey Thompson classic II's would look pretty good also just without the fake bead lock. They aren't that expensive either. If I remember right I picked my set of 4 15x10 for about $125 a piece out of summit. I think they have the 15x8 version for 100$, but thats alot of money that can go toward something else.

Thanks guy's, after a little thinking, I am going to stick with these.

A few weeks back as I mentioned I hand polished them, and put them back on last week.

Today the rig got it's first bath since last October, and the wheels look pretty darn good on the old gal.

Metal22lica, I can't "Photochop" with the software I have, I can only embed a pic over another one.
You would need someone with Photoshop skills to put the itmes on your rigs to see what it looks like.

Corey - I like the current ones you have now the most.

I was thinking about aftermarket rims, but after some thought, I decided that I REALLY like my stock rims and they look just as good as aftermarkets.....

Braden have you considered the gunmetal gray wheels that come on some of the Frontiers? I even considered them for my 4Runner I like them so much.

Ummm - those look like aftermarket wheels already. Specifically US Wheel (or Enkei) Trackers.

Well Corey, if it means anything, I like the Mickey wheels the best. I think that they look really nice on your rig. They are sweet. Just my opinion though. :fireman:

They are a nice looking wheel Ryan, and if I do change in the future it might be them.

I also do like the fake beadlock look.
After all, wheels are juz for decorazun anyways, right
