Well, did you hook everything up as stated in the write-up?
Check and double check. You should feel a gain. I drove in the mountains (7000ft) and it felt strong as ever.
Did you run premium fuel before installing the mod?
How long have you had it in?

Yes! While some claim to run regular with no problems, I strongly recommend Premium.
Here is the reason:
On most engines, the ISR mod will cause pinging. Its hard to hear because of the roar. But to the trained ear it will stand out. The knock sensor will then retard the timing to prevent the pinging or even worse - knock. So, by running premium you allow the "flame" to burn longer, creating more complete combustion and thus eliminating timing retard.
I will never run anything less than premium unless I am going to be driving at 4000ft and above for extended periods. In that case, there is no need to run premium. I go with midgrade at higher elevations.
Run premium, and reset the ECU.

Only run premium if your experiencing pinging. If you have no pinging, then you dont have to worry about it because your air-fuel mixture isnt igniting before the spark plugs fire.

I was getting the engine ping at take off speed every time when using reg. I went to mid and got it sometimes so went to supreme and good bye. It leaves a hole in my pocket but i hate that ping. I just did the ISR mod today and Poooowwwwwwwwer! It has got to be your fuel so upgrade your fuel and enjoy.
