moving to laramie wyoming...

sorry if this is in the wrong forum...please move to appropriate forum if needed...newayz, i'm gonna be moving to laramie, wyoming near the end of march from ruby, sc to attend wyotech for a yr...i'm planning on taking my 91 toyota pickup 4wd with me as of now...what all do i need to do to it for the big climate change i'm gonna be goin through? it's lookin like im gonna need a battery before too long as it is...is there any good cold weather batteries that you all recommend? the truck is pretty much stock...just got a set of 15x8 eagle alloys on it with 31x10.5 mud kings with good tread...would it be a good idea to switch over to somthin like bfgoodrich a/t's instead of the mud kings? i very very rarely get a chance to drive in snowy icy weather round here...any advice on driving in the conditions they have up there? neone on here from wyoming? any helpful input is greatly appreciated
thanks
josh

I am in Cheyenne Wyoming. About 50 miles east of Laramie. Lots of fun wheeling in the Snowies. WyoTech is nice too. I'd keep the muds. We are not getting much snow this year either. When the wind blows along with snow the interstates get very icey. You will have to look me up when you get here. We are planning a trip to muddy creek mid-late april.
