mounting a gps in a 4runner

i think i'm getting an etrex vista soon, and i'm not sure how i'm gonna mount it on the inside. anyone have any ideas? i think there's a bracket sold that you can attach to the right side of the radio, but i can't find a link to it anywhere.
robinhood steve, i remember you had yours in a good place, but how did you get it there?
thanks for the help.

idea

You might try a genaric cell phone mount. the Vista is the same size as my etrex i think it it sits nicely in my moms van's cell phone holder. it was cheap too. Personaly, I just attached a square of velcr to the GPS and another to the back side of the center console in my 4Runner. It is easily removeable and gets great sat. reception through the sun roof. The near vertical mounts could cause reception probs in some conditions.

I got a generic cell phone holder that has the swivle clip on it. I glued the little button on the back of the gps, so that the center of gravity keeps it upright all the time. I also got the belt clip so i can take it out of the truck and leave in on my belt when i go hike and stuff.

With that said, I want a road map gps thing, with the 6 or 7 inch lcd display. Its the Urban Counry side I get lost in, not the trails.

okay so i see those pro-fit ones like corey and schaefer have. the more i think about it tho, the more i want it on the other side. like right here:

so i guess i could use something that attaches onto the windshield by suction cup. unless there's a better idea...

I have one that I'm looking to get rid of as it interfered with the defroster on cold days. It's made by RAM Mounts and has a suction cup, adjustable arm and bracket for a Garmin GPS II/III/V, but RAM has mounts for other units. I liked it since it held everything steady and secure off road.

I also have a pro-fit mount with Garmin GPS on my 98.

Pro-fit mount is designed to mount adjacent to air-condition controller, which has an existing hole & screw mount. It is higher for 2nd gen, but it is lower for 3rd gen. I believe they don't have left hand mount for 3rd gen, simply it will block ignition switch.
