welcome!

thats pretty low. youre either driving too aggressively or are suffering with some issues.

try using the search feature and look up "gas mileage" or "fuel economy"

I hope English is not your first language. But welcome. 12 miles a gallon seems a bit low. Are you pulling a boat through a hilly city on a regular basis?

That could be perfectly normal if you're running big tires, lots of lift, and perhaps a big roofrack.

We really need to know more about your truck before we answer that question. Any modifications? How would you describe your driving habits? Aside from the gas mileage, does everything else feel/seem good? Is it the 4 or the 6 cyclinder? Manual or automatic transmission?

if you have a 1996, then you don't have the 3.0L V6. Maybe try giving us more information in understandable sentences, and we can help answer the question.

The 3.0L is notorious for poor gas mileage, especially the automatics. I average about 14-15 mpg. 12 around city isn't unusual. Get a full tune-up, check all your filters, etc. You didn't need to make another thread about this.
