Master Craft seats, anyone using?

Hello again, well as we know all good things come to an end. I know one day in the future my 4Runner seats will split open pouring there guts into the floor. This will be a sad day because I really like them. They are comfy, and supportive and great for long distance driving. I have come to the crossroad of either replacing like for like or upgrading. I have read the Corbeau seats don't hold up, PRP doesn't make a reclining model that I'm aware of, there a after market jeep seat manufacturer that makes something similar and I sat in it and it was OK. I know of Master Crafts reputation and they make a good product. My question is who here is using them? Specifically the BAJA RS.

Never used Master Craft seats. Never even seen them. But if you like the stock seats, why not just get some for cheap from someone parting out or junk yard?

Also, wonder if 4th Gen seats could fit in 3rd Gens? (perhaps just by switching brackets?) I really like the 08 Sport seats. Sorry to go a bit off-topic.

OE replacement well we won't even talk about how much those are. I would like as new as possible. I've had junk yard seats in the past and they were about the same as where my seats are headed. And vs. OE the MasterCrafts are a deal. http://www.mastercraftseats.com/bajars.php

Are we talking the stock cloth seats? The foam is pretty hard and probably never would poor out.
If the fabric is splitting you could just get covers, if the foam is sagging you could add some new (not too hard, I have done it). However I tried the Limiteds seats and found them much more comfortable.

No I'm talking about the limited seas well SR5 leather if you will no power options ion these seat. Yea they are comfy, my brother had cloth in his 02 Taco and they weren't that comfortable. If there are no bracket available I'll have to make some.

I actually looked at these last night. I love the looks of the BAJA RS reclining seat but man talk about throwing down some money!!!

As for the brackets for mastercraft I know that they make brackets for a 2nd GEN 4runner and on TTORA I have seen I think one person modify that bracket to fit a third GEN 4runner. Honestly I am really thinking about getting a pair of these seats and making the changes needed to the bracket.

But I am also torn between going mastercraft or have my cloth seats redone into a sweet vinyl. I would not have them covered in wet okole because I would rather have the whole thing covered.

Yeah I thought about the recover idea but it wouldn't be the OE toyota leather which I must say is pretty damn durable. Now if I could find someone who could add some kevlar to the new OE seats. On the driver and pass seat entry side I wouldn't have a problem.

My 98 Limited had leather seats and they were that durable at all. My old 98 Grand Cherokee had much better quality leather. The 4Runners were very thin. Not sure about the new ones, though.

It would be a smart idea to reinforce the side boulsters on the seats. Mine are wearing from getting in and out.

Oh, I'm going to take some measurments with these seats and look at the mounting brackets to see if they will work in a 3rd Gen. If it works, at least it will give you more options to choose from if the Master Crafts don't work out.
