Magnaflow and Downey ?'s from a newbie
I tried to search around and can't seem to find any answers. First off, I looked around and decided to go with the Magnaflow 11225. I am in the Marine Corps and stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I don't know where to get a Magnaflow shipped to an FPO address. It will essentially go to CA then the military will bring it over. Second, I want to get a set of Downey headers but run into the same problem. And why are the ceramic headers so much more than the chrome. I thought it would be vice versa. I am going to get the ceramic ones but if they are really 444.00 then I'll just buy the chrome ones. Thanks in advance for any help.
By the way I have a 91 Toyota Surf; 3" body, 3" susp lift, ES9000 shocks, front and rear lock-rite lockers, K&N filter, FAL electric fan, Jacobs Electronics wires, 33" Super Swampers. And for the record this site is freaking awesome. Lots of info and you guys seem to all get along really well. And just to ask, is anyone on the site here on okinawa? Wouldn't mind meeting some more gearheads.

Welcome to the board.
That's the same Magnaflow I run, you will like it.
Be sure to run 2.25" tubing from the cat back on that one, as it's meant for that size tubing.
Not sure where you can pick one up, I got mine at a local muffler place.
Are you sure you want headers?
To be honest with you I have not had any desire to get them.
Why?
Because from most of the reviews and posts from 3.0 owners who have them, they say it did not make hardly any difference.
I think Leo (Ldivinag) has them on his, and did not see any improvement.

Over here everyone is all about headers. They all say that the Downey headers are the greatest improvement of all. Most have kept telling me not to worry about any other mod until I get headers.
