I recently cleaned and adjusted my rear shoes. One of the drums was just a bit loose, I pulled it off, turned the adjsuter 2-3 clicks and put the drum back on. It took a bit of effort but nothing extreme. I realized the drum was too tight. Too late...that drum was not coming back off. I could still turn it by hand will some effort. Tried to see if I could get to the adjuster from the back but no luck. Buddy of mine looked at it and said should be no problem since it was still moveable by hand. "it'll burn off pretty quick and be okay." Few hours later I am exiting the highway and the pedal goes to the floor. Apparently the fluid was boiling. I flushed the fluid and bleed everything and am back in business. Moral of the story...that adjuster is very precise. Only try a click or so at a time.

thanks man... i'm replacing my rear setup cuz one of my wheel cylinders is leaing.... i'll be doing the shoes, drums, hardware and cylinders! wish me luck
