Loose wheel bearing?
Got a stumper here....
Story: A few weeks ago, my front drivers wheel bearing went out, I noticed it, and promptly got a new one to press in. I took the spindle out and took it to a shop (saved 300 bucks by taking them the spindle) And they (after some trouble) pressed in a new bearing.
Fast forward to recently: I have been hearing a Click when braking, or now accelerating that sounds like a brake caliper might be loose or something, so I get under to check it out, and my wheel has up and down movement, and I can see where the CV goes into the spindle moving too.
Now this sounds like a bad bearing to me, but there is no roughness, and the bearing isn't but 600 miles old. Also, It is a press in so there isn't really anything to tighten?
I'm a little stumped here, any one have any idea why this might be happening? I'm taking it to the shop that did the work tomorrow, and we will see what they say...

i have had the same thing happen on my runner and was told that it was a bad bearing and plan on changing it out this summer but mine has been like that for over three years and have really had no trouble but i know that there is a large c-clip that goes inside the bearing that most shops might not know about and that could have something to do with it bc once u press out the old bearing it is no longer useful and needs to be replaced when i change mine im gona take it back to th same shop and c what they have to say but hey i do have a spare set of spindles if theres a problem with that
