I didn't see th eoriginal thread, but I"ll admit to making redneck seatcovers with beach towels, webbing, ladder locks, et al. I think they totaled around 7$ each (towels found onsale at kmart for 3 or 4$). I only use them after mtn biking or some other physical activity which leaves me (and my leather) sweaty.

if thats redneck i'd hate to know what my plastic trashbags are. i have yellow seats in the car, so you can imagine they get dirty pretty easily. i just take off the bags before i get to a girls house or something....they don't come off very often
