Arrow Locker Questions?

Hey,

Im at school right now, but instead of paying attention to my Algebra teacher. I was thinking of what to do to my 4Runner.. And I know that there is a lot of options for a locker.

Mine is a 97SR5 3.4L Automatic.

I am wondering what I should get? Im 16, and all I know is the names. Detroit, Aussie, etc. But I know nothing about the units.

I will be mainly using this thing on the streets. With the occasional off road trip. I need something good for snow and ice as well.

Any Idears? I will be running 4.88's by the way. I just wanted to purchase all of this at the same time...

Thanks!

-Cody

By the way, I want this for both my front and rear end.

And my budget, not very expensive. Roughtly a max of 400$ for the front, and $400 for the rear end.

Thanks!!

Also...why 4:88s?? Are you lifted with larger tires? Your sig states stock so I'm curious why you would opt for 4:88s...

You are looking at an aussie front, and lockright, or aussie rear. You can also get a No Slip from powertrax, but that may be out of your range.

For the front aussie, a manual hub conversion would be recommended. You can likely get away without it though.

I'd also get a twinstick if possible, so that you can turn while off road. Without it, you will be going to 2wd high quite often.

Hey,

Well, when I buy the lift and bigger tires, I am either going to 456 or 488s. I havent bought any of it yet. I just wanted to specify that, im not sure if that effects it?? But Yah, im going to do it all at once. I just wanted some info!

And yah, thanks for the "Best Locker Info EVER!" My math teacher would love that. That should help me out with the locker lol. Y=mx+b, .'. x=(y/x+b)
lol, that must mean a Detroit??

Hah, thanks
