lifting my 4runner
im about to install 1 in lift springs on my 4runner and got to thinking about flipping not to sound pariniod but how much am i raising the likely hood of this thing roling on me?

Anytime you raise the center of gravity, you raise the chance of rolling...well, sort of. If the springs are firmer, then you will have less body roll, which equates to better stability. Someone cut in here if I am wrong.

I have Performance Products 1" lift springs installed on my '01 4Runner and to be honest with you, I feel much safer with them than with stock coils. The ride feels more solid and body doesn't lean that much during sharp turns as it was with stock springs.
If you're planning on installing the springs yourself, you can always try installing front springs first and sort of see what you think, since on different 4Runners 1" might feel different. And if you don't like the ride, you can always install stock springs back.
I hope this helps,
