leather treatment
i got my runner used in october and i noticed the day after i picked it up (of course, not before ), that it had 3 tiny little green dots on the passenger side leather seat. i tried so hard to get these to come up -- nothing has worked. i noticed yesterday that the person who had it before me apparently had a pen leak onto the leather at the crack between the seat back and seat cushion --- not noticeable of course, but annoying to me!
anyone know of any leather CLEANERS? and im not talking polishers, shiners, etc.. im talking serious cleaning to get out sticky / soaked in stains like this green crud and the pen ink.
thanks!

Lexol
Best stuff there is for leather, cleaner and conditioner.

You'll just have to shop around to find it. My parts guy at the Toy dealership carries it.
Vinylex is good as well.

The Wabbit is right. Lexol is very good and is what I normally use on my leather.
Another idea for cleaning especially dirty or hard to clean spots came from autopia.com. This idea supposedly is used successfully by used car dealers when they detail out a car with leather seat problems. The seats on my Ltd had been neglected so I carefully tried it and it worked fine. No damage to the leather and I followed up the cleaning with Lexol cleaner and then conditioner.
Take a damp sponge or rag and use a small amount of Lemon or orange Softscrub. DO NOT USE the Softscrub that contains bleach!
Then immediately wipe with a clean damp cloth to get the dirt and Softscrub residue out of the leather and follow up with Lexol or other good product. You might try this in a spot that doesn't show so you convince yourself it is safe. I did.
Another good site for neglected leather is leatherique.com.
Hope this helps.
