leaking transfercase

this "new" runner I just bought has a new motor and tranny but the transfer case has 200K+ and after the weekend at big bear, only 160 miles eachway, the transfer case seems to be leaking from everywhere. I would like to know if there is a normal place thest things leak from???? it seems to be dripping from every bolt on the back of the case, and there are no particularrly dirty or overly clean areas that might hint as to wher its comming from. could it be comming out the top?? from between the t-case and tranny?

a 1986 4-runner, manual 5-speed tranny{w56}, and a huge, incredablely strong,
the biggest HP ever 4cyl. 22re. thanks for any possible answers.

My guess is the transfer case needs new seals. My guess is you should take it apart and replace them... Replace any crush washers you find while you're at it... (And wait for someone else to reply cause I've never worked on a leaking tfer case)

On my 95, the rear output shaft seal is the one that always leaks. Get it replaced and it's good for about a year, then has to be done again...at the dealers expense.

My front output seal leaks and when I drive it coats the tcase in oil. Marlin sells seals for rear output, so does napa, oriellys, and autozone.

mine leaks from somewhere on top.

fluid is still quite full, it just wets the outside of the t-case
and I have never spotted an actual drip, but the case
has oil on it, and the skidplate below the t-case has stain

shaft seals all good.

so....somehow the gaskets on these can weep
