Its strange. I checked an aftermarket leaf spring application chart and it listed their springs as suitable for only 98-04 Tacomas. Yet Toyota lists the same part numbers for OEM springs for all the years.....

Leaf springs will not fit just about any 4x4. There are too many variables. (eye-eye length, individual leaf lengths, eye diameter, number of leafs, thickness of leafs, width of leafs, free camber measurement, single stage/double stage, center bolt size and orientation and location, leaf cut, clips and spacers....blah blah....) All these variables affect the vehicle performance.

I think I already told you about Alcan custom springs, if you can't afford Alcans, I'd go to a local truck suspension shop and get them to make you a replacement. Be carefull driving around with a broken leaf, the leaf pack is all that holds your rear axle on.

Might want to check w/ Toyota. I think they had a leaf spring TSB/recall campaign on the early Tacoma rear springs due to breakage. Otherwise, check on the Tacoma Territory site and see if anyone has replaced their stock springs and has the old set for sale.

Just buy a 2 1/4 wide repair leaf from thesuspensionking.com
It should only cost you about 25.00.
Good Luck.
