laptops...

So who has pics of what they use for having their laptop handy in their truck, instead of forking out 200 bux for a mount....

requirements... I need the passenger seat open for passengers...

I found a cool one, but its like 200....

Velcro

Sorry, no pics, but I had a friend who used some strategically placed velcro on his laptop and he could stick it just about anywhere and velcro strips are pretty cheap and if you don't like it, just peel it off!

I use the passengers lap. It's usually illegal to have a screen of any kind within viewing range of the driver. That's why all the minivans have the kiddie dvd screen behind and between the front seats.

Wouldnt that mean GPS's and navs are illegal too? or LCD screens on radios... I can see its illegal if say you got pulled over and was watching a movie... but not things like I plan on using it for.
