L I F T E D ! w/pics *dial-up beware*
Sorry for the long post but...... after months and months of saving up and collecting parts I
finally got it done. I have 2.5" front and 2" rear Cornfed spacers. I have Steves old 4wd
springs which gave me 1" over my 2wd ones. I have Bilstein shocks at all 4 corners. Over this
past spring break my and a buddy installed it ourselves. Some shops wanted $400 to do the
install. I opted to spend $200 on tools (nice craftsman tool set, jack, and jack stands) and do it
myself. I was a little intimidated but it wasn’t hard at all, just time consuming. I had Pep Boys
compress the front struts and install the spacer. The only charged me $40 also which I think is a
deal. The tires are 33x10.5x15 BFG AT's on the factory wheels. I like that tire size a lot. I
have no rubbing whatsoever. Not on the A-arm and I can turn full lock from side to side and it
does not rub. The ride is much improoved over my factory trash! It has definitely firmed it up.
The rear is a little soft compared to the front, I am going to see how it goes and more than like
switch to Downey springs. Overall I love the stance of it and could not have been happier.
4.88's are next on the list, probably with in a week.

it's real nice
but it's hard to compare the lift itself since you didnt have any pictures with teh lift and the stock tires
cool though!

Nice ride man!! and OOOOH the tire envy!! 
Congrats on doing it yourself too! after trying 3 spring compressors I gave up and let the shop do it with a wall mount (in the front). Plus, it always feels better when you do it yourself. You will love the Bils (don't know when you put those in) incase you just put those in too. now go put some dirt on that thing!!

Hey guys, sorry to revive this old thread 
, but I am interested in doing a lift similar to Nolans. 2.5" CF in the front and Downey in the back.
I read in another thread about switching the 2WD springs with the 4WD ones, but I didn't really get it. What does that accomplish? I see that Nolan has the 2.5 spacer in the front and 2" in the back, so does the swap even that out?

4WD fronts
4WD fronts are longer uncompressed to compensate for the weight of the front transfer case and all the other things associated with 4WD. I have my old 4WD springs (and shocks too) up for sale if you're interested. CLICK HERE to be forwarded.
