HEY fellas. Quick question I have aftermarket rims 17in, Enkei's. (see Avatar) Should I sell my stock 91 4runner rims or keep em in the garage..forever. Someone told me you should always keep your stock rims. Just in case. What did you guys do with your stock rims.? THanks.

I'm not sure if I'll ever switch from stock rims as I've seen and heard different horror stories.

IF I were to do so, if I wasn't crunched for $$ I would keep them. You never know when you'll need the rims your truck was originally intended to have.

I have my stock wheels tucked away in the garage and I plan on keeping them. If I ever decide to get rid of the runner (fat chance) I will put the stock wheels back on.

The only reason I could think of needing my stock rims would be if I were to buy another set of tires so I could have a set of each, trail and street tires.

Mine are also in the garage.
I'm going to paint my stockers black and use them on a set of BFG All-terrains for winter driving. Save my chrome ones from the winter harshness.

I have snow tires mouted on mine so my nice rims don't get trashed in the winter and I can easily throw my studs on.
