Gawd I hate Ca.
For those of you not living in Ca, you should be concerned too, because as somebody said in the above thread, Ca is the testing grounds for other states.

If you read the fine print, you'll find that it doesn't apply to you.
3) Not apply to deep tread, winter-type snow tires, space-saver
or temporary use spare tires, off-road tires, or tires with nominal
rim diameters of 12 inches or less.
This is only going to apply to regular tires. Basically keep tire companies from making oem size tires with horrible treadwear so that you have to keep buying more tires. You are completely safe!!! Looks like you should be fine.

ugh...more california rediculousness.
does anything positive ever come out of that state? i've always been for kicking it out of the union, especially since so many of them had to come up here to WA and screw up our way of life with theirs

I love Colorado, it's a beautiful state. I grew up there, and I'd love to move back but there are just too many people now. (and too many of them are dumb)

What a mess. Half of the tires currently sold in the state would become illegal since they aren't as efficient as the average? Then what happens to the average?? How about an argument that when stuck in snow or other road surfaces average tires are much less efficient because they are stuck and spinning while a nice beefy Bogger contines to propell the vehicle?
