Just a quick heads up for those who might be buying springs in the near future.

I just bought some 1 inch lift springs from performance products, and when I added them to my cart the price was only $239 free shipping. Seems they are giving 20% off orders of 150 or more. Hope this helps someone save some dough.

Thats a good deal, now is the PP springs going to give a 99 1" of lift? Or do they base that off a different year?

I would say its based of other years. My 01 got more than 2 inches of lift, but thats the lowrider year. 00's and pre 99's seem to be closest to the 1 inch.

I did some searching, and I found a write up on the PP springs with measurements from the ground to the wheel well. The PP springs gave 36 1/8" up front and 35 7/8" in the rear. That is with stock size tires (265/70/16). Those measurements are 3/8" higher than my 99 springs on stock tires.

I will post a report once these springs are installed, I am looking forward to getting some improved handling.

I know its been awhile, but I have the springs on, and I have to say that they made a huge difference in handling. I can now take turns without the body lean, the ride is a bit rougher, as in you feel alot more road feedback. My truck is about 2 inches higher which is a nice thing as well. I had to wait 5 months to get these, but it was worth the wait. IMHO.
