Just installed S/C problems, wildly erratic idle

I'm a little nervous here, I just finished installing a used supercharger on my 3.4. I read all the posts and instructions and think I have everything right. When I finally went to start it, it started but the idle is wildly erratic: It surges from 3000+ RPM down to almost zero, then cycles back up a few times before it dies or I shut it off. Any ideas? If I keep the gas pedal down a bit it will keep running but doesn't sound good (no knocking but rough running).

Here are some details, I can add some pics too.

Second gen (I think) black supercharger. I changed the oil and put a new snout on.

Connected throttle opener hose to the vacuum port on backside top of SC throttle body mount (nothing else hooked into this port)

The two little barbs on top of throttle body are capped

IAC one-way valve is installed

Fuel Pressure Regulator hose is hooked into rear SC boost port (nothing else is hooked in here)

Driver's side dual S/C ports: Front one is hooked to brake booster, back one is hooked to evap hose with 4wd vsv hose T-ed in.

power steering vac line is T-ed into PCV line

Running DENSO IK22 plugs, gapped at .032, though looks like the consensus is to gap them to .042, so will prob try that next.

The negative battery cable was removed while I did the work, so i'm guessing that was sufficient to reset the ECU.

Truck: 97 T100 4x4 SR5 standard with 140k miles.
No fuel mods yet, though I live in Denver and mostly drive truck in mountains so will see how it runs first before deciding how to proceed. Everything else is stock.

Thanks!

Never mind, i'm a complete idiot. Just went back over everything and noticed that the throttle body gasket had rotated out before i bolted it on dnd was hanging half way out of the assembly. Buttoned it up, took for a drive and is running sweet!
