I can ask the bodyshop in Chula Vista that is working on my truck right now to get a quote for you. I'll be visiting them later in the week. Seems like very cool guys w/a respectable body shop since they do a lot of old car restoral and the place is in really good shape. I'll let you know how good they paint and get a quote for ya.

i actually went by to talk to him, but he was not in. they quoted me almost 300 just got the scoop assembly. i ended up going ot wondries in alhambra. they had it for 200.
next question is, now that i have the parts, there is no assembly instructions. most of it is self explanitory, but there is a couple rubber peices that seem to serve no function. also, how am i supposed to rivit the peices in, there so far back?
has anyone put theres together themselves? and do you have instrucitons so i can do it right?

if you search a bit...I answered the mounting problem question....I just don't remember what thread it was in. I ended up using a nut/bolt combo for the screen. Although, if I could do it all over again, I would cut out the back of the scoop, and use it as more of a vent. Maybe make a small ABS form or something to direct the air out, or something.
