So I have spent the last couple weekends working on my interior and adding somethings and finally getting a console from a 99 Runner put in and upgrading my stereo. So here is my interior build thread.
What I have done:
Cleaned everything!!
Console conversion

LED lights where visible
Cheap and easy mod to turn signal indicators
added sound absorbing material
Stereo Wiring including external amps and crossover, hard wired and switched my radar detector
Black Vinyl Flooring
Added power outlet and power inverter beneath driver seat

Started by doing the obvious and removing everything from the inside of the truck, cleaning and sound deadening as I went :











Next came the stereo wiring and got the first part of the new console in, the e-brake




Look at that mass of wires!!!

LED Bulbs and turn signal indicator mod:




Just remove the green inserts from the cluster and cover the hole with some blue vinyl electrical tape and light with some white #74 led bubs

Now the not so fun part, putting in the black vinyl floor:











Thats all the pics I got so far, but I will update and add more later.

What I think so far:

Console- Love it, except for not being used to it and dropping my stereo remote into a cup of tea that used to be a storage tray, and the fact that the only console I could find at the junkyards was for a non rear heat and had to be trimmed for the controls and vents (didn't come out too well but can be remedied with a new shell from Toyota I guess)

Vinyl- Not so much, looks great in most places, but the cold weather install, the lack of the ability to get a perfect mold, the addition of a large mass of wires, and a little too much trimming lead to some bad areas. Also the thick, non-bending vinyl in combination with the additional wires puts a lot of stress on all the trim panels and causes them to bend and/or break. Will probably clean the factory carpet really well once the weather turns warm and die it black and reinstall at least in the passenger compartment.

Wiring- Love having the extra outlets and the power-inverter (Waiting on a new factory cig lighter since mine crumbled upon removal). Also the hardwired and switched fuzz buster comes in handy and looks better. The door speakers on an external sounds great along with far better control and sound quality.

LED bulbs- Love them, especially the backlights for the gauge cluster, even with the overlays the LEDS shine on the needles beautifully
