Intake manifold advise

I have a 1996 tacoma 3.4 5speed ext cab that i bought with the trd supercharger on it.i want to take it off bc these were not suppose to be sc and im lookin for a reliable ride.my friend has a junk yard with a 99 4runner 3.4.will the in take off the 4 runner work on my tacoma and what all do i need to get off the 4runner???any advice would be helpful fellas thanx...ide also like to sale the sc when inget it took off is anyone is lookin for one.

It should work but the vacuum lines might be in different spots/have more/less of them. If your buddy owns the yard then pull the manifold and try it, if it doesn't work take it back lol.

Texas ace u answered all my other question so how about this one...im running 33x12.50s with 4.88 gears and my speedometer is 10mph off.any idea how to fix this???oh and btw i got the manifold on and its runnin like a champ now thats for the advice.

Well if the speedo is off and you like the gearing you have then only way to fix it is with a speedo correction box. Basically it interrupts the speed sensor and adjusts it to be correct. They are expensive, hard to setup and get working and can be hard to install.

Honestly I would just get a GPS and mentally note what the new important speeds are in your head. Thats what I do but I also don't speed so I am not real worried if I am off by a few MPH.

Another option is to just stick a GPS in the truck and use it all the time as your speedo, it would cost less then fixing your trucks speedo with them going for under ~$50 now days.

If you must fix the trucks speedo, then might as well step up to an AEM FIC. Pretty sure it can make that adjustment and it would allow you to tune the truck as a bonus.
