pulled codes and got a PO100 and PO101, but as we pulled the codes, we noticed a puff of gas out the intake gasket (engine had a little spit back as it quit anc caused the puff). i have the metal gasket, assuming that is what is the norm. this is a new build, so i dont know of any previous issues. took the intake off but did not see anything out of the ordinary. which way do the indentions go on the metal gaskets? truck will crank but not idle, did not spray anything around the intake gasket before i took it down. because we saw it leak just assumed that was the problem, either way it had to be fixed. need to know about the indentions and correct install procedure for the metal gasket.
