Question Installing Additional Aux Lighting on 4th Gen

Greetings - I am looking to install an additional set of fog lamps on my 2003 Limited 4Runner. I currently have a Wagg front bumper guard which I'm planning on installing the lamps on. I would like to avoid drilling any holes in the firewall and I thought I would use a wireless remote light switch. If I decide to go wireless, what would be the best way to get power to the lights (12v). Thanks!

whatever fog lights you get should come with an appropriate wiring harness. If not they sell em. Try looking for the hella 500's as they're pretty popular by alot of people. They're cheap and are around the $60 range and includes everything you need to wire it up.

All wires must go thru the firewall but there are plenty of gromet holes you can use.

Good luck!

I just set up a pair of hella 500 driving lights, same exact setup if I was doing the fogs, and at least running the wires was extremely simple. I just ran them right through the main wiring grommet behind the fuse box and had no problems getting the wires through. With a little help from the guys here, getting the relay wired right was not that difficult either.
Good Luck
