Just found out from a local garage that the cause of my misfire in #3 cylinder is due to a malfuntioning injector. I am mechanically inclined but have never done one of these before and couldn't find a good write up on this. Does anyone have faith in Toyota dealerships? they Quoted me at 400.00 to do the job.

There's a service manual for 3rd gen 4Runners here if you want to try it yourself. It doesn't look too hard, just remove the upper intake and the fuel rails. http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/
