It seems they had the street/track driving conditions in mind when they designed these, based on the write up. They focust a lot on vibration transfer from vehicle to driver, which I could see making sence in an off road environment, but if I were in the market for something relating to comfort, I would personaly need to touch/feel it before I buy. I would check out there return policy before perchasing them, in case you end up hating the seats. Looks fun though.:beaver:

I've been in those before-installed in a Cobra Mustang. They are VERY deep and narrow. It is difficult in a sportscar to "drop into" those seats and to climb out of them.
In a truck it would be really, really difficult to get into and out of the seats. You have to climb out over the tall sides of the seat. The seats aren't comfortable either.

Would you also convert to a 4 or 5 point harness? I know that when I'm offroading I'm constantly leaning my head out the window to look at the trail. This would be impossible with a harness unless you're not weariing it.

I'd wander a couple of junkyards looking at different cars. I was impressed with the seats in a Celica I saw at the dealership not too long ago. You could get something like that and have an upholstery shop recover them for a lot less than $900.

I would do neither. are you really in your car for that long?
you can make $900 go a long way towards other mods than seats. Plus I just don't like the look of racing seats in a truck. You aren't racing your rig are you?

i would definatley go with the milano 2's! they are more adjustable and therefore probably more comfortable, not to mention the other ones have that deep seat and climbing in and out with that large triangle of side support in your way would really be a pain, especially in a cramped 4runner cab or PU.
