IFS and ADD Help!
Need a little help...
I just pulled my IFS diff out of my 4cyl 4runner, ADD and all. I have another carrier with new gears and a truetrac but no ADD. Problem is, the new carrier doesn't have the side axle tube so I want to use my ADD tube with the new carrier.
I took the ADD tube off the old diff, but can't get the stub part out of the diff. How does it come out so I can stick it in the other diff?
Thanks for any help!

it should just pull out... It can not have a clip on it due to the design that you have to pull them before the diff. You may just have a round retaning clip on them that is made to pull out. But seriously dude... Buy some Aisin hubs and install the axle with out the ADD.. I wish I had kept the solid tube and stub shaft from my parts truck when I left the body shop I worked at, it would of been in my truck by now.. one less thing to break.

Yeah, I know. I wish I had that straight tube. Maybe I'll wait until I find one... would be a pain to have to go back and pull the diff again. I do have manual hubs, however.
